Helios Towers Africa has appointed Kash Pandya as its new Chief Executive Officer and Director. The appointment is with effect from July 13, 2015, the company said. Kash was previously the Managing Director of Aggreko International, where he superintended over the companies operations in Africa, South America, Central America, India, Asia, Australasia and the Middle East.

A leading, independent telecommunications towers companies in Africa, HTA also announced that co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer, Chuck Green, will effectively become Executive Chairman of the company.

He has successfully positioned the Company for its continued future development, and will continue to have an important strategic role in our business going forward,” Tope Lawani, co-founder of Helios Investment Partners, said.

Kash undoubtedly brings a wealth of experience from his role at Aggreko, where he was International Managing Director for three years. Before joining Aggreko, Kash was Chief Executive Officer at Johnston Group, a portal engine and content management systems company.
